A steering committee has been established by Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar to manage housing-related concerns for federal employees.
The projects being carried out by the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) and Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) Foundation will be supervised by the committee, which is made up of Federal Secretaries.

Due to the severe delays in the initiatives that both organizations are working on, federal government employees are not promptly and effectively assisted with regard to their housing entitlements.
The committee will convene once a month, during which the director general of the FGEHA and the managing directors of the PHA Foundation will give an update on the current state of the projects that both organizations are currently working on.
To fulfill the entitlements of active and retired federal employees, both authorities will consult the committee.
