Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the Israeli airstrikes on Doha during a telephone call with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The prime minister extended heartfelt condolences to the emir, the royal family, and the people of Qatar. He described the strikes as a brutal act that exposed the mindset of the Israeli leadership. He said the aggression was a clear violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, adding that Pakistan deeply mourned the loss of lives and destruction of civilian property caused by the attacks.
Shehbaz Sharif warned that such actions posed a serious threat to peace and stability across the region. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s complete support for Qatar, describing it as a strong and united partner. He also underlined the need for unity within the Muslim world to counter growing challenges.
The Qatari emir thanked the prime minister for his solidarity and support. Both leaders reaffirmed the close brotherly ties between Pakistan and Qatar and agreed to continue cooperation and engagement to promote peace and security in the region.
