Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and extended warm congratulations to him, the Qatari royal family, government, and people on the occasion of Qatar’s National Day.
During the call, the prime minister conveyed his best wishes for Qatar’s continued peace, progress, and prosperity.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the Emir’s visionary leadership and Qatar’s growing influence on the global stage. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening the long-standing and multifaceted bilateral partnership between Pakistan and Qatar.
The prime minister also appreciated Qatar’s constructive diplomatic efforts, particularly its role in promoting peace in Gaza, and commended Doha’s facilitation of dialogue aimed at reducing tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
In response, Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the National Day greetings and expressed his strong resolve to further deepen relations between the two brotherly countries.
