Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned Israeli aggression during his speech at the emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha, voicing Pakistan’s full solidarity with Qatar and urging the world to take urgent action to stop Israel’s attacks in Gaza.

The Prime Minister said Israel’s strike on Qatar was an attempt to derail peace efforts in the Middle East. He declared that Pakistan stood firmly with Qatar and the Muslim world in rejecting Israeli actions. Highlighting the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza, Shehbaz Sharif said “humanity is wailing” as Israel continues what he described as a genocidal campaign against Palestinians. He demanded an immediate halt to Israeli aggression and called for swift international intervention.

The Prime Minister also urged that Israel’s membership in the United Nations be suspended and proposed forming an Arab-Islamic Task Force to hold Israel accountable for crimes against humanity. He warned that unchecked aggression threatened not only the Middle East but also global peace.

Other Muslim leaders also condemned Israel’s actions. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian called the attack on Qatar an act of terrorism backed by the United States and Western powers. Tajik President Emomali Rahmon said the ongoing crisis in Gaza raised questions about the conscience of the international community. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Israel had crossed all limits and could no longer be considered a partner for regional security.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused Israel of believing it could act without consequences and called for unity among Muslim nations to counter its expansionist agenda. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said the attack on Doha violated the UN Charter and stressed the importance of a two-state solution. Jordan’s King Abdullah II said the security of Qatar was the security of the region, while Iraq’s Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani urged the creation of a NATO-style collective security system for Arab and Islamic countries.

Arab League chief Ahmed Aboul Gheit condemned Israel for committing war crimes in Gaza and using hunger as a weapon, while Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani called the attack on his capital a “treacherous strike.” He warned that Israel’s expansionist policies were a threat to global peace and vowed that Qatar would not be intimidated.

The summit showed a united stance of Arab and Islamic nations against Israel’s recent actions, with leaders urging stronger international pressure to stop the violence and address the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
