Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the interim prime minister, urged US businesses on Friday to take advantage of the sector’s enormous investment potential.
The prime minister made his comments while speaking with Donald Blome, the US ambassador to Pakistan, who had visited the leader in Islamabad. The envoy congratulated the prime minister on taking office and reiterated that Pakistan’s economic and development goals would be supported by the United States.
The US played an important role in assisting Pakistan to stabilize its economy, and the prime minister underlined Pakistan’s commitment to pursuing its reform agenda in order to achieve sustainable growth. He expressed his hope that more US businesses would investigate investment prospects in Pakistan, noting the part that the US private sector has traditionally played in fostering Pakistan’s economic development.

According to the prime minister, relations between Pakistan and the US are strong and wide-ranging, built on mutual respect, like interests, and shared values. He expressed pleasure with the direction in which bilateral relations are currently going in a positive direction and reiterated the government’s determination to further advance bilateral cooperation in crucial fields like trade and investment, energy, security, and climate change.
The caretaker government’s primary duty, according to the prime minister, is to support the Pakistani Election Commission in its work and maintain constitutional stability while the country undergoes its democratic transition.
The prime minister praised the Pakistani-American community’s significant efforts to deepening connections between the two nations and urged further people-to-people exchanges.
