The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rainfall in Karachi starting from December 30, as a new westerly weather system is expected to affect the city.
According to the PMD, there is a chance of rain from Tuesday night into Wednesday as the system moves across the region. Residents may experience changes in weather conditions during this period.
The department reported that the minimum temperature in Karachi has been recorded at 12 degrees Celsius, while the current temperature stands at 16 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature during the day is expected to remain around 26 degrees Celsius.
PMD said winds are blowing at a speed of 8 kilometres per hour, with humidity levels at 60 percent. Visibility in some areas has reduced to around two kilometres due to light fog.
Citizens have been advised to stay updated with weather forecasts, especially those planning travel or outdoor activities during the expected rainfall period.
