President Putin Says Russia-Pakistan Relations Are ‘Mutually Beneficial’

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that relations between Russia and Pakistan are strong, balanced, and based on mutual benefit, highlighting close cooperation between the two countries under the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.

He made these remarks during an official ceremony at the Grand Kremlin Palace, where Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, formally presented his diplomatic credentials. The ceremony reflected the steady improvement in ties between Moscow and Islamabad and underscored their shared interest in expanding cooperation at both regional and international levels.

President Putin said Russia values its partnership with Pakistan and considers it an important factor for stability and cooperation in the region. He noted that both countries continue to work closely on political, economic, and security-related matters, particularly through multilateral platforms such as the SCO.

The event reaffirmed the commitment of both sides to further strengthen diplomatic engagement and explore new areas of collaboration in the coming years.
