On Saturday, the price of gold in Pakistan increased by Rs. 2,000 per tola, closing at more than Rs. 213,000.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA) issued data showing that the price of 24 carats of gold increased by Rs. 2,000 per tola to Rs. 213,300, while the price of 10 kilos increased by Rs. 1,714 to Rs. 182,000.
Prior to falling by Rs. 750 per tola on Tuesday and Rs. 400 on Wednesday, the price of gold had climbed by Rs. 1,250 per tola on Monday. The price per tola increased by Rs. 2,900 on Thursday and decreased by Rs. 50 on Friday. Due to the increase on Saturday, the price of gold has increased by Rs. 4,950 per tola over the course of the week.

It is important to note that last week saw an increase in the price of precious metal of Rs. 6,350 a tola. This indicates that the price has increased by Rs. 11,300 per tola during the past two weeks.
