According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the production of petroleum products increased by 7.55% between July and October 2023–2024, with its index rising to 92.29 from 85.81 in July–October 2022–23.
In October, there was an 8.19 percent decrease in the production of petroleum products.
From July to October 2023–2024, the production of high-speed diesel increased by 14.80%, to 1.752 billion liters, from 1.526 billion liters in 2022–2023.

From July to October of 2022–2023–880.770 million liters of furnace oil were produced, a 16.34% increase over the same period in 2022–2023–757.062 million liters. Between July and October 2023–2024, the quantity of jet fuel oil had a negative increase of 13.02 percent, reaching 257.307 million liters, as compared to 295.822 million liters in the same period in 2022–2023.
From July to October 2023–24, kerosene oil experienced a 0.26 percent increase, amounting to 33.469 million liters compared to 33.383 million liters.
Based on PBS statistics, cement output increased by 7.10 percent from July to October 2023–2024, totaling 14.071 million tons, as opposed to 13.138 million tons in the same period in 2022–2023.
