Provinces, Center to Equally Share Cost of Green Initiatives
Islamabad: The Ministry of Climate Change has agreed that the federal government and the provinces will split the complete cost of the green projects announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

Unidentified government official stated that the climate change ministry will also employ a third party to monitor the expenditure of cash. The federal government reportedly requested that all provinces submit their PC-1 for the implementation of green programs.
In addition, it was disclosed that the provincial departments will be responsible for project implementation, while the federal government will serve as a monitoring authority.

It is important to note that the prime minister has launched numerous green programs, such as Clean and Green Pakistan and Recharge Pakistan, Protected Areas Initiatives, and Ten Billion Tree Tsunami.
