PSB Grants Rs2 Million Award to Arshad Nadeem for Javelin Excellence

Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem received Rs2 million from the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) in recognition of his achievements in the Asian Athletics Championship.

The Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) received Rs10 million to help with Arshad Nadeem’s training, according to information that came to light on Wednesday. As an incentive, Coach Salman Butt received Rs 600,000.

Naseem Akhtar won Rs100,000, while snooker players Muhammad Asif and Ahsan Ramadan each received Rs500,000.

The Bodybuilding Federation was given Rs2.5 million, and the Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) was given Rs2.1 million.

Together, the federations of squash, volleyball, and handball received a grant of Rs5 million.

Grants totaling Rs1 million were given to the Judo Federation, Rs2 million to the Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation (PJJF), and Rs3 million to the Pakistan Karate Federation.

The Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU) received Rs1.1 million, the National Rifle Association of Pakistan (NRAP) received Rs7 million, and the Wrestling and Kabaddi Federations received Rs3 million each.

The Wushu and Sailing Federation was given Rs1 million, and the Pakistan Winter Sports Federation was given Rs2 million.

The Taekwondo and Tennis Federations each earned Rs1.1 million, while the Pakistan Table Tennis Federation (PTTF) was given Rs2.2 million.
