Islamabad’s Bhara Kahu Flyover Sees Another Accident in 1 Week
There have been reports of yet another incident on Islamabad’s Bhara Kahu flyover, which is still under construction. This time, a girder is said to have fallen during the installation process, forcing the closure of roadways on both sides.

This is the second occurrence in the past week. In the first one, the flyover’s shuttering collapsed, killing two workers and wounding three more.
According to eyewitnesses, the girder fell with a tremendous crash and enveloped the area in a cloud of dust. Yet to date, there have been no reports of deaths or injuries. Here is the newest incident’s video, which has gone popular on social media:
The major Murree Road is being congested, hence the Bhara Kahu flyover is being built. The 2 accidents, however, have brought into question the construction’s quality as well as the safety precautions. Alternative routes have been suggested for drivers in order to minimize inconvenience.
