In July 2023, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) received 13,459 complaints from customers of various telecom carriers and cellular operators, 12,222 of which (90.81%) were settled.
PTCL, long-distance international (LDI), wireless local loop (WLL), and internet service providers (ISPs) were among the telecom companies that received complaints in July, according to official data. Cellular mobile operators (CMOs) were also the target of complaints.

A sizable portion of the total telecom subscriber base is made up of cellular mobile subscribers. The most complaints are therefore related to this group. By July, there had been 12,826 complaints made against CMOs, of which 11,670 (or 90.99 percent) had been resolved.
5 785 complaints were made against Jazz, of which 5397 (93.92 percent) were resolved, according to PTA data. Furthermore, 2,030 (90.58 percent) of the 2,241 complaints against Telenor that were received and handled. Likewise, 2,791 (88.43 percent) of the 3,156 complaints made against Zong were resolved. There were 1,641 complaints against Ufone in total, 1,450 of which (88.36%) were addressed.
Additionally, the PTA received 138 complaints about basic telephone service, 110 of which were resolved in July, for a resolution rate of 79.71 percent. In addition, 485 complaints were filed against ISPs, and 433 (89.28%) of those were resolved.
