PTA Receives Over 14,000 Complaints Against Telcos in June
In June 2023, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) received 14,024 complaints from customers of telecom services regarding various telecom providers and cellular operators. Of them, 13,844 (98.72 percent) had their issues fixed.

Internet service providers (ISPs), wireless local loop operators, and long-distance international (LDI) operators all experienced high traffic in June in Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL).
A sizable portion of the total telecom subscriber base is made up of cellular mobile subscribers. The most complaints are therefore related to this group. 13,359 complaints had been made against CMOs as of June, and 13,324 of those (99.74%) had been resolved.
Data from the PTA shows that 5,925 complaints were made against Jazz, of which 5,923 (99.97%) were settled.

Additionally, 2,496 complaints were made against Telenor, of which 2,495 (99.96%) were settled. Similar to that, 3500 (99.72 percent) of the 3510 complaints against Zong that were received were resolved.
Ufone was the subject of 1421 complaints in total, 1401 of which (98.59%) were resolved.
Additionally, the PTA received 133 complaints about basic telephone service, of which 106 were resolved in June, for a resolution rate of 79.7%. Additionally, 512 complaints were made against ISPs, and 400 (78.13 percent) of those were resolved.
