Public Transport System Based on 2017’s Census to Be Launched
Islamabad’s Capital Development Authority will commence Blue Line Bus Services on the Islamabad Expressway on March 23, as scheduled. The Bus Service will consist of ten buses traveling from the Soan River to the Faisal Mosque.

According to estimates, the project will also include bus service between the Islamabad International Airport and Peshawar Mor. This project is the product of mass transit efforts in Islamabad. The CDA will soon announce the tender date for the project’s IT infrastructure and ticketing system. The services for women, children, and students will be provided gratis.

According to the sources, the initiative would operate 29 buses on three important routes: Bhara Kahu to Faizabad, Tarnol to Railway Station to M-5 Metro Station, and Soan to Faizabad Mosque.
