Mohsin Naqvi stated, “The Provincial Cabinet has approved that all public and private sector schools, colleges, and universities in Punjab will be closed from February 6th to February 9th in view of the upcoming general elections on February 8th.”

The commencement of classes at 9:30 am will only be observed until February 3rd. He went on, “We’ll stick to regular school hours later.”

The announcement was made on social media site X by Mohsin Naqvi, the Punjab’s acting chief minister.
