Punjab Favors The Business Center
Lahore: The Punjab government has given the Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company permission to develop a multipurpose business centre at the Quaid-e-Azam Business Park (PIEDMC).

Syed Nabil Hashmi, the chairman of PIEDMC, told a group of businessmen that the centre will have a 300,000 square foot footprint and that the groundbreaking ceremony would take place soon.
He explained that the multi-story, multi-purpose business centre would have corporate offices, conference rooms, expo centres, multipurpose halls, showrooms, hotels, a one-window centre, and factory outlets. He told the businesses, “Special incentives would be given to IT-related people and companies in the business centre given the growing need for technology for business success.

Hashmi stated that the Quaid-e-Azam Business Park, which covered 1,536 acres in Sheikhupura on the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway, had 675 industrial plots built, ranging in size from 0.5 acres to four acres.
Manufacturers are showing a lot of interest in the project because of the pace and quality of PIEDMC’s development work, he thought.
