The Government of Punjab has reinstated standard market timings across the province following the end of Eid ul Fitr celebrations.
Under the revised directive, all shops and markets in Punjab will now close at 10:00 PM, returning to the pre-Eid schedule.
Earlier, the provincial administration had allowed extended and round-the-clock business hours to facilitate increased shopping activity during the festive period. With Eid now concluded, that temporary relaxation has been withdrawn.
Authorities have directed traders and shopkeepers to strictly follow the updated timings, marking a shift back to routine commercial operations across the province.
Officials say the decision is part of normal post-Eid adjustments, ensuring that business activities return to standard working hours after the holiday period.
