The Punjab caretaker government has chosen to levy a toll on eighteen provincial roads in an effort to raise more money for the upkeep and development of vital infrastructure.

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi presided over a meeting of the provincial caretaker government that approved the installation of a toll charge on certain routes.

Among the goals of these roadways is to bring in extra money for the upkeep and development of vital infrastructure. Additionally, a sizable portion of the route from Bahawalpur to Hashilpur to Chishtian would be covered by toll collection.

Furthermore, the government has made the decision to reintroduce tolls on the highways that traverse Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, and Gujranwala. The departments of Finance and Communication are anticipated to release an official announcement.
