Punjab PDWP Favors Funds for 10 Road Projects
According to news sources, the Punjab Provincial Development Working Group (PDWP) has approved funding for ten road construction development programmes in the province.

The projects were approved at PDWP’s twenty-second meeting of the current fiscal year (FY 2021-22). It was presided over by Planning & Development Board Chairman Abdullah Khan Sumbal and approved PKR 7,825,114 million for ten projects to improve the province’s road infrastructure and address traffic issues. The following projects have been approved:
- PKR 776,944 million for the reconstruction of a 25.25-kilometer road from Phalia to Dinga
- 650 million Pakistani rupees for the rehabilitation and carpeting of the 30-kilometer road from Malakwal to Sat Sira Chowk Mandi Bahauddin
- PKR 999,379,000,000 for the construction of a flyover at the Rajjar Railway Crossing in the Sarai Alamgir District of Gujrat; PKR 1,139,674,000 for the rehabilitation of the 25-kilometer-long road from Narowal to Zafarwal.

- The improvement of the road between Kalowal Mor Ahmad Nagar and Sial Mor Tehsil Lalian has been approved with a budget of 450,950,000,000 PKR.
- PKR 704,775,000 to widen and pave the 29.24-kilometer road from Hafizabad to Sukheke Mandi.
- PKR 982.691 billion to widen the 23.25-kilometer road between Chowki Sukheke and Cheemi Mohallah Jalalpur Bhattian.
- 820 million Pakistani rupees have been approved for the improvement of roads in UCs 01 to 24 in Tehsil Gojra, District TT Singh.
