The data for the calls made to emergency hotline 15 during the month of August were recently revealed by the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA). The report, which was made public on Sunday, provides information on the number and type of calls received.
The 15 Emergency Helpline received an astounding 2,797,316 calls over the month, according to the data. Of them, 578,417 were found to be unimportant, while 215,219 were determined to be legitimate worries. Based on these calls, the Dispatch Control Centre opened cases for further action.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Hasan Javaid commented on these findings and reaffirmed the PSCA’s commitment to growing its services and working with law enforcement organisations.
In order to weed out pointless calls, he emphasized the use of the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system and urged individuals to call the 15 helpline in an emergency.
