Lahore: On January 7, according to a news source, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi opened the province’s first e-Registration Model Center, located at LDA Plaza, Kashmir Road, marking a historic milestone.
The recently unveiled model e-Registration system intends to expedite the land transfer procedure in the area based on the disclosed information. The Sub-Registrar offices of Data Gunj Baksh Town, Ravi Town, and Samanabad Town have been moved to the e-Registration Model Center to improve citizen convenience. CM Naqvi emphasized the importance of opening two more e-Registration Centers by January 31 in Raiwind and Shalimar during his visit.

CM Naqvi expressed his happiness with the progress and thanked the administrative team, Punjab Land Record Authority, Senior Member Board of Revenue, and others for their cooperative efforts. He disclosed that, with over 221,000 registries already completed using the e-registration system, the manual registry procedure would be ended.
CM Naqvi explored the nuances of the e-registration system during his inspection of the center, instructing staff to create an online fee payment system for the convenience of the public. He also made use of the chance to speak with residents going through land transfer procedures at the Punjab Bank branch at the e-Registration Center.
