Railways to Outsource Properties in Twin Cities
Islamabad: According to a news source, Pakistan Railways (PR) assets in both Islamabad and Rawalpindi will be outsourced in order to produce cash. This was mentioned by Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati.

Mr. Azam Khan described the property owned by the Railways as a “valuable asset” of the nation that will be used to make money for the business. In response, Pakistan Railways will make land parcels with excellent economic potential available in a number of sites throughout the twin cities.
To take advantage of the opportunity, the corporation invites Public Private Partnership (PPP), investors, commercial entities, and Pakistani business groups and enterprises from abroad.

The minister announced that the Railways Department will hold a presentation at the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry to inform potential investors about the outsourcing of its land (RCCI). The conference is open to interested companies, where further information will be revealed.
