In response to the growing backlash, Rajab Butt posted a public video apology, calling the entire situation a “misunderstanding.” Lahore police confirmed that the matter has now been resolved after Butt’s apology, and the formal complaint has been withdrawn.
This isn’t the first time Butt has faced public criticism. He previously sparked controversy by launching a perfume named “295”, a direct reference to Pakistan’s blasphemy law. That stunt led to a case against him under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA).
