Ravi Project Will Be Another Pindi Ring Road: PMLN
Lahore: The PML-N asserts that the Buzdar administration’s “inefficiency and corruption” will cause the Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project to face the same fate as the Rawalpindi Ring Road.

She warned that the Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project would experience the same “inefficiency and corruption” as the Rawalpindi Ring Road, where billions of rupees were stolen.
The PTI is promoting this project as a solution for Lahore’s urban sprawl, housing, water, and pollution problems.
In regard to the Rawalpindi Ring Road scandal, Ms. Bokhari and other PML-N MPs have demanded punishment against federal ministers Ghulam Sarwar and Sheikh Rashid, as well as the former premier’s personal aide Zulfi Bokhari.

The deputy general secretary of the PML-N questioned why former Rawalpindi commissioner and retired captain Mahmood was imprisoned, but Ghulam Sarwar, Sheikh Rashid, and Zulfi Bokhari escaped punishment.
The PML-N further claimed that the Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) issued a “clean bill of health” to two ministers and a former special assistant, placing the blame on government workers.
