Rawalpindi: Commissioner of Rawalpindi Division Liaquat Ali Chatta states that the project to build the Rawalpindi Ring Road is expected to be completed in less than a year. This is a significant turning point for the region.
Construction of the 38.3-kilometer Rawalpindi Ring Road is underway, and great efforts are being taken to ensure it is completed within the specified time frame.
According to the details, the Rawalpindi Ring Road will have five significant interchanges: Banth, Chak Beli Khan, Adiala Road, Chakri Road, and Thalian.
Industrial zones will also be constructed along the Ring Road, enhancing the area’s economic potential.

Commissioner Chatta addressed concerns regarding the project’s alleged shelving, highlighting its importance as a public welfare endeavor and reassuring everyone that it is still on track.
Furthermore, the Ring Road project is expected to give the local business community access to economic zones and alternative commercial possibilities.
The Commissioner also underlined the rapid advancement of the projects and praised the vital role played by the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) in implementing municipal development initiatives.
In addition, it is anticipated that the Ring Road project will facilitate local travel and lessen traffic on city roadways, ushering in a new era of growth for Rawalpindi.
