The owners of three unauthorized housing schemes are the target of legal action taken by the Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA).
Details state that at the Mandra police station, the MP&TE Directorate of RDA filed formal complaints (FIRs) against the proprietors of three illegal housing schemes.
According to an RDA spokesman, these illegal housing projects are present in Tehsil Gujjar Khan’s Mauza Kari Dulal on GT Road Mandra, Mauza Sahang and Mauza Sahang Mandra on Chakwal Road.

He continued by saying that the directorate is targeting the illicit housing schemes’ unauthorized marketing and promotion through legal action.
Before filing formal complaints, the authorities had also sent notices to the three illegal housing complexes.
The spokeswoman stated that without the required NOC, the RDA had issued warnings to everyone about the illegality of starting residential projects, apartment complexes, and commercial buildings within its restricted region.
This covers all forms of marketing, promotion, and project development carried out by agencies, limited liability firms, sole proprietorships, etc. The public has been cautioned by the authorities to stay away from investing in these illegal housing plans.
