Research Centre of Intercropping at IUB Ratified in Pakistan
The official approval has been given for the creation of Pakistan’s National Research Centre of Intercropping (NRCI) at Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), according to a report published by the China Economic Net.

According to the sources, this research facility will be Pakistan’s first national center dedicated to intercropping technologies.
Before to this, however, Pakistan lacked a national intercropping research center. This is the first center that is anticipated to be associated with the Ministry of Agriculture’s primary laboratory in China, which is run by Sichuan Agricultural University.

This university has an intercropping research center where studies are conducted, focusing primarily on soybean and maize.
Chinese people are involved in this initiative since they are well-versed in its technology and related fields. In addition, it is discovered that 25 acres of the total area have been formally designated for the Pakistani center.
