A restaurant in Windsor, Canada, has made headlines after preparing what could become the world’s longest minced meat kebab roll. Smokies BBQ, located on Ottawa Street, organized the attempt and successfully created a roll measuring 81 feet long.
The effort was led by the restaurant’s owner, Tigran Kadiouchian, who said they were proud to be the first to attempt such a unique record. He added that while the target was to make a 100-foot roll, cooking limitations and shrinkage during the process reduced the final size. Still, he called the result a strong start and promised an even bigger attempt in the future.
Kadiouchian announced that Smokies BBQ will return next year with plans to prepare a massive 200-foot-long kebab roll. After the roll was completed, it was cut into one-foot servings and shared with the public, turning the record attempt into a community celebration.
The unique food challenge has already drawn attention locally and could place Windsor on the map for a Guinness World Record if officially recognized.
