Rs 370 Million Okayed for Widening of Key Kohat Road
MPA Ziaullah Bangash, chairman of the district development advisory committee, stated that Rs 370 million have been budgeted for the long-awaited enlargement of Shah Faisal Gate Road.

He stated that the road from Kutchery Chowk to Shaheen Plaza would be extended to alleviate traffic congestion.
He stated that the traffic congestion was caused by the inflow of IDPs from tribal districts, who primarily drove pick-up vans and rickshaws.

The demarcation of shops to be removed from the area, he said in a statement, was finished years ago, but the process is being delayed owing to a lack of funding.
