As part of a plea agreement, Arain City, Fateh Jang, has given Rs. 600 million to the National Accountability Bureau, Rawalpindi.
A representative for the NAB claims that Accountability Court-1 accepted the plea deal without voicing any concerns.
It should be mentioned that the Arain City was introduced in Fateh Jang almost twenty years ago without a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the appropriate authority.

Up to 1,019 people paid substantial sums of money for plots, but none of them were able to get one from the housing society. A representative for the NAB said that they will soon get their share of the recovered money.
In a recent massive crackdown against unlicensed housing societies, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) demolished 11 societies’ illegal constructions and encroachments.
The operation resulted in the destruction of offices, gates, billboards, and other infrastructure belonging to the following communities: Rawal Enclave, Haider Residencia, Park Zameen Town, Al-Haram City, Danyal Al-Haram Block, Tameer Garden, Khan Builders, Manan City, Multi Gardens Phase-II, Faisal Town Phase-II, and Capital Smart City Extension.
Moreover, 336 of the 484 housing societies in the garrison city are unlicensed, according to RDA. These housing schemes are running without obtaining the required legal paperwork from the relevant authorities.
