Russia Gas Pipeline Project’s Construction Will Start
Sergei Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia, stated that after Pakistan and Russia had signed the North-South Gas Pipeline Agreement, Russia may begin building the Pipeline.

According to Sergey Lavrov, relations between Pakistan and Russia are positive and advantageous for both countries.
He stated that he wanted to continue growing the two countries’ trade and that it had already increased at a record rate.
“I am satisfied by the fact that the mutual trade has increased by 46 percent and hit the record $790 million dollars. We should further develop our economic relations,” he said.
The Russian FM also reaffirmed that his nation was prepared to boost Pakistan’s capacity to combat terrorism, including by providing Pakistan with specialized military hardware. According to him, it served the interests of all the states in the area.

He also emphasized the need for a Middle Eastern peace, particularly the creation of a Palestinian state.
Shahd Mahmood stated that they had also examined the bilateral defense and counterterrorism cooperation and believed that they had a framework for a conversation in this regard.
