Safe City Islamabad Extends Surveillance with 900 New Cameras
ISLAMABAD: SSP Safe City Project and his staff extended a cordial welcome to a group made up of ANF officers and faculty members who were in need of training.
The officers received a briefing on the cutting-edge capabilities and advantages of the Centralized System, Command and Control Centre, data hub unit, and cutting-edge technology employed in the Safe City Project during the tour.

The Police Operations Centre, Emergency Control Centre, Dispatch Control Centre, E-Challan System, and the Pucar-15 helpline are just a few of the security-related initiatives that Safe City Islamabad has a significant impact on.
The delegation was informed that on the orders of Federal Interior Minister Rana Sana Ullah Khan, the Safe City Project expanded its coverage to various areas of the city under the direction of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, with the installation of 900 additional cameras.
Key commercial hubs, structures, metro bus stops, shopping centers, and private housing societies have all been integrated into the scheme.

Additionally, to successfully identify suspicious individuals, facial recognition cameras have been put at key access and departure points across the city.
The SSP Safe City gave the visiting group an honorary shield as a mark of appreciation.
The delegation thanked CPO Safe City/Traffic and his crew for their outstanding work and professionalism in putting this significant security project into action.
