Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has broken his silence on long-standing claims that he has ruined lives and careers in the film industry. Speaking during the latest episode of Bigg Boss 19, the actor dismissed such accusations as baseless, saying that success or failure in Bollywood is not in his control.
The conversation came up when host Shahnaz Gill reintroduced her brother Shahbaz Badisha as a wild card entry on the show. She pointed out that Salman has launched and guided the careers of many in the industry and suggested he could do the same for her brother.
In response, Salman Khan made a clear statement. “I am not responsible for making or ruining anyone’s career,” he said. “People often accuse me of destroying lives in the industry, but in reality, I cannot even ruin my own. The one above decides everything.”
At 58, the actor has mentored and supported several newcomers in Bollywood, helping many achieve recognition. However, he emphasized that no single person has the power to shape another’s destiny. According to him, a career in films depends on talent, hard work, and fate, not on external influence.
His remarks underline the unpredictable nature of the entertainment industry, where stardom is never guaranteed, and every individual has to find their own path.
