Samsung is preparing to introduce a new device to its Galaxy lineup next Monday. There’s also some debate on whether it will be called the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition or the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition.

Samsung has sparked excitement with a teaser video, which has fueled speculation. A recently leaked image shows that this new foldable phone will have a slimmer design than the regular Galaxy Z Fold 6, potentially aligning with previous rumors of a Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim.
Leaked specs suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will come with a 200MP camera, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and a 6.5-inch outer screen. The inner display is expected to be 8 inches, and the device will feature IP48 protection. When unfolded, it should measure 4.9 mm thick, just shy of the Honor Magic V3’s 4.4 mm, and around 10.6 mm when folded.
With the launch date confirmed, more teasers are expected before Monday’s Galaxy Z Fold launch. However, there are rumors that the new foldable phone may only be available in China and South Korea. Fans of Samsung foldable phones worldwide are hoping this won’t be the case and that it will be available in more markets soon.
Samsung’s latest foldable could bring new innovation and design to its lineup, building on the success of its Galaxy Z Fold series. Many are eager to see if the company has added any unique features to this special edition model.
