In this month’s three-match Twenty20 series against England, New Zealand will be strengthened by the return of all-rounder Rachin Ravindra and regular white-ball captain Mitchell Santner, but they will be without crucial batsman Kane Williamson, according to the national cricket body (NZC).

Earlier this month, Santner and Ravindra were both absent from the T20 series against Australia, which was captained by Michael Bracewell. Santner was recuperating from a recent abdominal surgery, and Ravindra was out with a facial injury.

According to media sources, Williamson has an undisclosed minor medical condition. The 35-year-old hopes to make a comeback for the One-Day International series against England, which begins on October 26, according to the NZC.

According to the NZC, Finn Allen, Adam Milne, Will O’Rourke, Glenn Phillips, and Lockie Ferguson are still sidelined with injuries, and pacer Ben Sears is also out with a hamstring issue.

On Saturday in Christchurch, New Zealand, England will play in the opening Twenty20 match.

Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Devon Conway, Jacob Duffy, Zak Foulkes, Matt Henry, Bevon Jacobs, Kyle Jamieson, Daryl Mitchell, Jimmy Neesham, Rachin Ravindra, Tim Robinson, Tim Seifert, and Mitchell Santner (captain) comprise the New Zealand team.
