Indian actress Sara Arjun has shared new details about Dhurandhar Part 2, saying the sequel will be bigger, more intense, and emotionally stronger than the first film.
Speaking in an interview with NDTV, Sara said the makers were aware of audience expectations after the success of the first part. According to her, the sequel delivers “more of everything people liked,” including heightened action and a stronger storyline.
In Dhurandhar, Sara played Yalina Jamali, the daughter of a Pakistani politician. She explained that she spent significant time understanding the character before filming, focusing on Yalina’s emotional journey and mindset. She added that this preparation helped her connect deeply with the role.
Sara revealed that Yalina’s character sees major growth in Dhurandhar Part 2. She said the sequel allowed the role to develop more depth, both emotionally and narratively, making it more challenging and rewarding as an actor.
The actress also spoke about Euphoria, her first Telugu film as a lead. The story revolves around children in conflict with the law, and Sara said she chose the project because of its emotional strength and powerful message.
Reflecting on working across different film industries, Sara said she no longer thinks in terms of regional cinema. For her, meaningful stories matter more than language or industry boundaries.
When asked about upcoming projects, she said nothing has been finalized yet, and she is comfortable taking time to choose roles that resonate with her creatively.
