Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, the Saudi Arabian ambassador to Pakistan, stated on Thursday that his country will do everything in its power to help Pakistani IT companies obtain visas.
Following a meeting between the ambassador and Dr. Umar Saif, the acting federal minister for IT and telecommunication, on Thursday, the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication made this assertion. The conference specifically covered Saudi Arabia’s ability to facilitate business and IT visas for Pakistani nationals.
According to the official, topics of common interest and those pertaining to IT and telecommunication were covered during the meeting.
The parties decided to strengthen their bilateral cooperation in the telecom and IT industries.

According to Dr. Umar Saif, the goal of Pakistan’s government was to strengthen ties with Saudi Arabia in the fields of telecom and IT. For Pakistani IT companies, Saudi Arabia is a very enticing market, he remarked. He said that it’s critical to make travel and visa arrangements easier for Pakistani IT companies as they expand their operations and presence in Saudi Arabia.
According to the ministry of IT, Pakistan has a large pool of potential IT and telecom workers. He continued by saying that Pakistan has a favorable business climate and he urged Saudi IT companies to make investments there.
Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, the Saudi ambassador, continued by saying that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will work together closely in the IT and telecom sectors. The envoy further promised that Pakistani IT companies will receive full cooperation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in obtaining visas.
Senior Ministry officers were present at the meeting.
