Saudi Crown Prince MBS expresses desire to visit Pakistan in 2026

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has expressed his desire to undertake an official visit to Pakistan in 2026, reflecting the continued warmth in relations between the two countries.

According to details that emerged on Wednesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with the Saudi crown prince. During the call, the prime minister conveyed his good wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He thanked the crown prince for his affection, sincerity, and warm sentiments toward Pakistan.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen the longstanding and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. They also exchanged views on the regional situation and discussed current developments affecting the Muslim world.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stressed the importance of unity and harmony within the Muslim Ummah and reaffirmed Pakistan’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He emphasised that peace and stability in the region should be maintained through dialogue and diplomacy.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman thanked the prime minister for the telephone call and expressed his desire to further enhance cooperation with Pakistan in various fields. The conversation highlighted the strong diplomatic ties and mutual respect shared by the leadership of both countries.
