Sensory Garden Inaugurated for Children at Women’s Prison
Sindh is the first province to implement jail legislation because the provincial administration strives to overhaul the criminal justice system by taking progressive measures.
The Committee for the Welfare of Prisoners (CWP), a public-private initiative of the provincial government, arranged an event in which numerous government departments and non-governmental organizations participated.
Therefore, he stated, the earlier laws should have been replaced with new ones, and the Sindh government, which proposed the new law, deserves all the credit. He noted that jail officials are doing their utmost to implement the newly imposed rules.
She stated that the AMI School, with the assistance of many benefactors, attempted to create a platform where children living in prison could see the outside world and understand the significance of different universal ethics in a welcoming setting.

Barrister Haya Emaan Zahid, secretary of the CWP, stated that the committee gives legal support to poor and needy inmates and that it provides assistance to around 2,500 inmates annually.
She added that the AMI School is a member of the Early Learning Center’s Advisory Board and that the program has just been started.
