Security forces killed seven militants in two separate operations in North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the first intelligence-based operation took place in the Mir Ali area, where six militants were killed after an intense exchange of fire. In a second operation in Spinwam, security personnel engaged another militant who was also killed.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from all the militants. ISPR said the individuals were involved in attacks on security forces, law enforcement agencies, and targeted killings of civilians.
The military said operations against terrorist networks will continue with full determination under the Azm-e-Istehkam campaign, reaffirming that security forces remain committed to eliminating terrorism from the country.
