Sialkot to Acquire Industrial Zone EPZ Reaches Maximum Capacity
The Punjab Minister for Industries and Commerce, Mian Aslam Iqbal, announced the construction of a second industrial zone in Sialkot on the 21st of December, once EPZ is fully colonized and achieves its maximum capacity.

These remarks were given by Minister Aslam during a meeting held to assess the zone’s progress. He also announced the formation of an EPZ board for infrastructure monitoring and expansion.
According to recent reports, the minister stated that the government was committed to provide assistance to colonize EPZ areas. In addition, he instructed businessmen to begin work on the vacant plots or risk having their allocations cancelled by paying their fees.

According to the conference, the EPZ consists of 881 plots, 121 of which have been colonized, 436 of which are under development, and 300 of which have been terminated owing to non-start of development.
The gathering was also informed that the government would take action to settle unsolved concerns concerning the availability of facilities and the encouragement of the development of new industrial enterprises.
