The Sindh government has presented a new home-based vehicle registration service. Information, Transport, and Excise Minister Sharjeel Memon announced this at a press conference.

He described that after a key meeting of the Excise Department, it was decided that vehicle registration should be offered from home. The service will cost 10 thousand rupees and include biometric data collection and verification performed at the individual’s residence.
Memon also noted that the department raised 6.7 billion rupees in just 4 hours by selling premium number plates and plans to hold another auction in September.
Additionally, the Sindh government has removed the 60-day registration limit for vehicles. Now, people can only buy registered vehicles. If someone purchases an unregistered vehicle, they must complete the registration process before using it.
