The mobile phone market in Pakistan is drastically declining. A number of local manufacturers have made the decision to halt their activities in the nation.
Due to the increasing price of necessities, smartphone manufacturers have trouble affording raw materials. As a result, it is now incredibly difficult to manufacture smartphones in Pakistan.
The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor’s (CPEC) Transsion Techno Electronics, a Chinese company that makes cell phones, has also chosen to halt operations in Pakistan.

Transsion Holdings China and Tecno Group Pakistan joined together to form Transsion Techno Electronics in 2019. They are one of the top 10 makers of mobile phones worldwide, with names like Techno, Infinity, and Itel.
Also, the business is currently running two factories for the production of cellphones in Karachi. The business is so productive that it can make 825,000 smartphones.
The company has so far manufactured 0.3 million cell phones monthly on average. Yet, it provided work possibilities for 2500 male and female employees, 400 Pakistani engineers, and 12 Chinese managers.

According to the news, 30 other mobile phone producers, including Vivo, Xiaomi, Oppo, Nokia, Tecno, Infinity, Samsung, and Itel, are also having trouble.
