People have been advised to be cautious of erroneous information on social media by the Meteorological Department. Rather, they stress that there will continue to be a lot of fog in the plains of Punjab and KP and that icy conditions are predicted in Kashmir, the upper regions of KP, and the Pothohar region, which includes Islamabad.
It is predicted that there will be mild showers and snowfall in GB and Chitral in mid-January. The midday high will not rise above average because of the fog. On cloudy days, travelers are recommended to use caution.
