Solar Project Inaugurated at LGH
Lahore: Dr. Akhtar Malik, provincial minister for energy, inaugurated the Naya Punjab Solarization Project at the Lahore General Hospital.

The initiative, totaling Rs 84.5 million, will save the hospital Rs 37.8 million annually in electricity costs.
According to Dr. Malik, there are over 95,000 public connections, and the Punjab government has paid a staggering Rs 37 billion in electrical bills.

He stated that his objective was to convert all public sector connections to solar in order to reduce the load on the public exchequer.
Chohan stated that the government’s top objective was initiating energy-efficient projects to generate inexpensive and environmentally beneficial electricity.
