Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has shared a warm insight into her married life with her husband Zaheer Iqbal, revealing that she chose to live with her in-laws after their wedding. In a recent interview, Sonakshi explained that the decision came from her own wish to be part of a close family environment.
The actress, who married Zaheer in 2024, said that before the wedding, Zaheer had asked if she preferred living separately. Sonakshi responded that she wanted to stay with his family and felt there was no need to move out.
According to her, Zaheer’s family is easygoing, happy, and enjoys spending time together. She shared that they often travel together and have a joyful bond at home. Sonakshi described the atmosphere as relaxed and filled with fun.
She also mentioned that her mother-in-law does not cook and does not expect her to take on kitchen duties either, which has helped her settle comfortably without pressure. Sonakshi said she felt welcomed from the beginning and instantly became part of the family.
