Head coach Sanath Jayasuriya expressed the team’s solidarity, saying, “The players and support staff are deeply saddened by the situation our fellow Sri Lankans face following the floods and landslides. As a team, our hearts go out to all affected.”
He added, “We have decided to donate the tour money and match fees from the Pakistan series to assist those in need. We will continue to provide support once we return home. Please stay safe, follow guidelines, and care for one another during this difficult time. We stand together with all Sri Lankans.”
