Due to the carelessness of a private airline, a domestic passenger en route from Lahore to Karachi was inadvertently transported to Jeddah.
The traveler did not have a passport or visa when they boarded an international flight.
The traveler was blamed for the airline staff’s mistake, which resulted in the passenger being held in Jeddah.
The airline allegedly advised him to buy a new ticket when he asked to be sent back to Karachi.
The traveler said, “It wasn’t my fault; I ended up in Jeddah because of the airline’s error.” Now that authorities are aware of the situation, they are looking into how the traveler got to Jeddah without the necessary paperwork.
The relevant station manager and the Civil Aviation Authority have received a letter from the Pakistan Airports Authority.
The authority has called for harsh action and a hefty fine to be imposed on the airline that caused the serious lapse in the letter.
