The South Africa cricket team arrived in Pakistan on Wednesday to play a two-match Test series, marking another important moment in the revival of international cricket in the country. The squad landed at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore on a private airline and was escorted under strict security arrangements to their hotel.

This tour adds to Pakistan’s recent success in hosting top international teams, a major boost after years of limited home cricket. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has emphasized that welcoming South Africa is another sign of restoring regular bilateral cricket on home soil.

According to the announced schedule, the first Test will be held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, from October 12 to 16. The second Test is set for Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from October 20 to 24. Both venues have already started preparations to host what promises to be an exciting series.

Cricket fans are expected to turn up in large numbers, with tickets already available online. The PCB has also confirmed that entry for spectators in both Lahore and Rawalpindi will be free of charge, ensuring greater participation and crowd support.

The South Africa tour is expected to not only deliver high-quality cricket but also strengthen Pakistan’s position as a safe and welcoming destination for international matches once again.
